Method 5

Flickr was fun! Added some pics from my personal file. Not yet sure how or if will do for our library.

Method 4

I don't see myself using Google Reader or any other RSS reader in the near future, but may get more comfortable with it.

Method 3

Wow! I've learned alot from reading these articles from Method 3! Never would have known what "cloud computing" until today! Would have thought of it as creating computers from watching white, fluffy clouds floating by in the sky! Sometimes after sitting at a computer for most of the day, my head feels "cloudy"!
I don't think I want to use cyberspace to store personal information even though some of it is already out there. I prefer some stuff on my hard drive or a flash drive. I did realize one thing about using cell phones in libraries: they have become more than just a communicator between people. They are also their personal computer for accessing the Internet. So I will be changing our front sign that says, "No cell phone use in library" to "Take personal calls outside" or something like that. The ipods are becoming more acceptable as the world gets smaller through the technology advance.

Methods 1 & 2

It is amazing how the world is becoming so attached to their "machines". That's why I decided to enroll in this online continuing education course through Texas State Library. Stephen Abram is very knowledgable in the technology & libraries. And the way the creator of "Machine is Us/ing us" to describe how technology is becoming so involved in our daily lives. Again it's amazing how we are able to stay connected to the outside world from our own little space of it. God has blessed so many individuals with the right type of know how to expound upon machines & give us this technology.
This is my first day at creating a blog. It was easy!
